HPC High Performance Computing
The HPC Team is engaged in the design, operation and management of the supercomputers of RIKEN. To provide the most user-friendly computational environment to RIKEN researchers within the limited computational resources available at RIKEN, the HPC Team not only operates and manages the supercomputers, but also provides tutorial and program tuning services to the users.
Network & Security
The Network and Security Team contributes to research activities by operating the network systems and servers, which are important components of the cyberinfrastructure and through its information security related services.
Library
The Library is well stocked with various foreign and domestic professional journals and books, and provides support to researchers for easy access to them. It also provides a good information environment to researchers for literature search and to be abreast with current research trends. Non-RIKEN persons with library privilege can also use the Library.
Technology Development Unit
The R&D Team conducts high level research in computer science, network and information security technology.
